any charity events in london?

does anyone know any good charity events where i can volunteer, possibly in central london.

If you go to this website you could probably find quite a few great places to volunteer.

  2. I know of a writer who is looking for help. I don't know exactly what kind of tasks he needs done, but he said he needs volunteers. I think the help would mostly be through online tasks.

    In what sort of role would you like to volunteer in? I am organising a charity talent showcase ("Class Acts") in aid of Cancer Research UK. It's being held in central London on Friday 25th July 2008 and I am looking for a couple more volunteers to help out.

  4. Here is a list of a lot of upcoming London charity events - you'd have to contact individual organisers to see if they need help, but at least you can see a lot of charity events all in one place, and possibly find one that appeals to you:

    One that might be interesting for you is "Great Comedy for a Cause."

    Otherwise, the Globe Theatre (of Shakespeare fame) relies entirely on volunteers to staff the shows and are always looking for help. Not only do you get to help at the iconic theatre but you'll get to catch the shows as well!
