How Internet minded are charity shops?

I have come up which a concept for a website that could help charity shops in Edinburgh be more effective… any thoughts on how interested they might be and who I should talk to / how I should go about running it past them?

Many charity shops have websites in England, but I don't see how they make them more successful.
However if your idea offers them more profit, you should speak to the managers of the various shops.
I am surprised Ebay isn't used more by them.
