Do all the charity "sponsor me online" websites e.g Justgiving.com charge the same?

I donated online to my friend recently and was quite shocked at the charges. I take it these sites are for profit? if so - Is there a non-profit making site out there? Sorry three questions in one!

Don't know about other sites - but would imagine that charities receive more money if people use things like Justgiving. It cuts out the middleman (the person raising the money) who has to collect it all and remember to post it. The Race for Life (UK thing for cancer charcharity) misses out on loads coz people don't send their sponsorship in.

  2. There are variations. It's probably better to use such sites, though.
