Does Tony Stewart give to a lot of money to charity?
Everyone I know don't like Tony because he is hot headed. However I like his style of racing and have heard that he gives a lot of money to childrens charity and I was wondering if this was true?
He has his own foundation, plus he gave the Petty's that huge check for the VJG Camp. So, yeah. At the Barret-Jackson auctions, he had a car on there for charity and was offering his watch that he was wearing to help drive up the price. That was just last month.

Every driver gives money to a charity of some sort! I can't say how much Stewart does because I doubt that it is public knlowledge..

Yes, big time and not to mention he and his crew and local Home Depot employees have built a lot of play grounds for children in areas of the country that do not have local budgets to do this..He has his own foundation as well, and he donates lots of money to the Victory Junction Gang as well…Yes Tony donates a huge amount of money, especially when it involves children..Yes, he can be a brat on the track, but he puts his money where it does a ton of good….well done Smoke..

I strongly suggest people to get the NASCAR Illustrated June 2007 magazine. There is a complete article about Tony Stewart's generosity. Very interesting story and quite revealing. I wish more people knew more about Tony and all the good things he does for so many people.

Tony Stewart, along with many NASCAR drivers give to many animal charities. But Tony's true charity is what he has given back to the sport. His involvement in dirt racing has positively impacted the dirt racing scene.

The first time I met Tony was at a local children's charity event. It wasn't a big, national thing either. He just happened to be in town for a World of Outlaws event, and made a stop there and donated some things there for the charity.

Tony likes to do stuff and keep it quiet, in addition to everything else listed here he gives money to retired drivers in need as well.

Yeah he does. A lot of people like him for this but don't like his personality otherwise. It makes for an interesting dilemma for some people. He's very quiet about it, but he does promote the Victory Junction Gang camp.
